We sell plastic bags. We know that's complicated. Here's what we're doing about it.
Let's start with the uncomfortable truth: trash bags are a single-use plastic product. We're not going to pretend otherwise, and we're not going to greenwash our way out of it.
What we can do is be better than the alternative. Subscription means we ship exactly what you need – no overbuying, no waste from wrong sizes that get thrown away unused. Our bags are thicker so you never double-bag. That alone reduces plastic use significantly.
We're also investing in what comes next. Here's our roadmap – what's live, what's in development, and what we're planning. We'll update this page as things change.

Recyclable Packaging
Every box and insert is made from recycled cardboard and is fully recyclable. Zero plastic in our packaging.
Optimized Shipping
We batch shipments and optimize routes to minimize carbon per delivery. Compact packaging means more bags per truck.
Plant-Based Materials
We're testing bio-based bag materials that meet our quality standards. When they pass our tear and leak tests, we'll switch.
Carbon Offset Program
We're building a program to offset the carbon footprint of our entire supply chain. Not just our shipping – everything.
