If you're not sure what size you need, here's the foolproof method.

Check for a size label
Most bins have a gallon or liter size printed on the bottom or inside.

Measure the opening
Measure the circumference of the bin opening in inches. Divide by 2 – that's the bag width you need.

Measure the height
Measure from the bottom of the bin to the top, then add 4 inches for overhang. That's the bag length you need.
